Compassionate Counseling for Children, Teens, and Mothers

Can you relate?

As a parent, you are noticing behavioral and emotional changes in your child. Your child is having more meltdowns, or maybe they are having a hard time separating from you. Your child’s behavior and mood swings are affecting other family members. You have brainstormed different solutions to address the issues you are witnessing, but feel uncertain about what is causing these changes in your child. You want what is best for your child, and you are unsure how to help.

As a teen, you feel drained trying to keep up with the demands of school, spending time with friends and family, and working through so many transitions. You look around and it seems like everyone has it together while you are barely holding on. You want to feel confident in your decisions, but anxiety and stress keep getting in the way.

As a mother, it feels like you are pouring into everyone else’s cup but your own. Most days you feel overwhelmed and tired. You feel desperate for connection, but unsure how to communicate your needs. Worrying thoughts keep you up at night, and add to the on edge feeling you are experiencing. You know that you need a break, but feel stuck in what seems like a never-ending cycle.
