Therapy for Mothers
“We need to challenge the presumption that good mothers take better care of her children than they do of themselves. In doing so, we can begin to set the stage for women to be released from the expectation that they manage this mother role perfectly.” - Karen Kleiman
Two things are true: motherhood can be beautiful and it can be so hard.
You’re in the right place if:
You are looking for compassionate support from someone who “gets it”
You want support and guidance, but you are not sure where to start
You need someone to meet you at your pace because you don’t need anymore on your plate
You struggle with feeling guilty when thinking about time to yourself
You feel you are on the verge of burnout
I’m here to help
As a mother of two, I get it. No one can adequately prepare you for motherhood’s highs, lows, and in-betweens. When working with mothers and mothers-to-be, I work to hold space for your emotions and help you regain your sense of identity and purpose. I’m passionate about empowering mothers and highlighting the strengths that already lie inside. Together we can rediscover who you really are and explore what matters most to you.
